So I was driving to work today and a "most recent generation" Mitsubishi Eclipse went by me.
It was black but this Google Image looks a lot better lol.
So I realized when this generation came out I saw them all over the place, I'm sure people just stopped buying them like you know...all Mitsubishi's and the rest are in junk yards already.
But where did all the Eclipse's go? I used to see all 3 generations all over the place. Maybe they're hiding in a better/warmer/less snowy climate than Michigan.
More importantly, answer below with the car you used to see all the time that has suddenly disappeared.

They went to the same place all ricer cars go. To Hell.
Suburbans seemed like they used to be more common and now I feel like I see more crossovers and pickup trucks.

I liked my 4g eclipse. It was a pig, but it had a 6mt and could do burnouts for days. It also taught me what liftoff oversteer is

.....Here is one. I saw not one but two in recent weeks. My first thought was...I haven't seen one of these in forever, and then when I saw the 2nd one a few days later...I was like "what?"

Scrap yard. All the teenage kids who's mommy and daddy bought one for them because they were cool wrecked them while doing 50 in a 30 and spinning into a tree.
I don't see very many E46s anymore. Most have been replaced by E9x or wrecked by a douchebro.

There is a Gen 1 GSX in my garage that I've completely given up on fixing...
Other than that, I would say 99.998% are scattered about in various states of constant repair and / or rotting in junk yards...

that's true huh. I don't really see first of second gen Ford Taurus anymore. Also, it's been forever since i've seen a Acura RL or older Legend.

In the last round of CCIARAT I bumped in quite a few this gen Eclipses, so the answer might be Newburgh, NY.
The last time I had that reaction was when I saw e90 Corolla hatchback. Especially that generation hatchbacks and liftbacks seem to be quite rare these days.

People used to drive Yarises (Yarii?) around here somewhat frequently, but they seem to have become much less popular. I think since the new style came out I've seen maybe one or two of them.

I used to see this generation Taurus everywhere, but I think they've all pretty much died by now.

yea they weren't long for this world.
There's a slightly damaged one up in my in-laws pole-barn ready to be sold if the suspension doesn't collapse.

I used to see first-gen Focus's (Focii?) all the time. Not so much anymore, which I am not upset about. I did like the hatch though.

I remember when those came out they were so popular. the 3.8L V6 put out 265hp(back then that was alot) I remember wanting the exact same as pictured but in black. I still like them. I miss the times where mitsubishi made nice cars ex: lancer ralliart sportback, Eclipse V6 Manual,Evo,galant ralliart,Endeavor, ect. I used to really like mitsubishi but it seems they are all slowly dying away.

o man those are still everywhere here in metro Detroit (including my neighbors driveway).
It must be where they all went to - Metro Detroit

yeah they are.
I saw this coming when they broke their relationship with chrysler because they thought they'd be stronger.
I'm still waiting for "stronger"

There is also one in my neighbours drive, although I don't think they drive it at all.

my neighbor just got hers. She always takes her mom's hand-me-down cars. Despite being 30 lol.
she paid her mom 100$ for her used 94 (i think) honda accord 3.5 years ago, I cant believe it made it as long as it did as she did 1 oil change that I'm aware of in that time period (honestly I'm kind of impressed).
Just got rid of the honda when her mom was going to sell the much newer focus to her for the same amount. I hope she does oil changes, the focus won't last as long as the honda with sludge oil. (and it pains me to say that)

Really?
I've seen them, but I would guess they're all dead
